Healing Family Patterns with ThetaHealing

Healing Family Patterns with ThetaHealing

One of the themes which I have encountered a lot, both with clients and in my own life, is healing and releasing family patterns.

I find that a lot of people, myself included, find it much easier to get away from family in order to be themselves. I think that can be an important part in a person’s process. Especially if you grow up in an environment where you recognize the mentality or communication style is not what you want. Or there might be toxicity or people stuck in limiting beliefs. And sometimes there is a need to remove oneself from that environment to break out of patterns.

At some point, we have to reconcile the judgments that we hold onto about our family members and the patterns that we play out as well. We have the ability to transcend the patterns we witness in our families and ourselves.

When I was early on in learning ThetaHealing, I remember a story that Vianna shared, where she talked about a guy who was learning ThetaHealing, and he said that he didn’t have anything to work on in himself. And she asked him, “What about your father?” And he went on and on about how his father always thought he was right and a long list of flaws. An outsider could easily see that what he saw in his father, was actually in himself too, but he himself didn’t realize it. And as a healer, our job isn’t to make the person see what they don’t see, but to help them where they need help. And this guy was stressed out by his father. But like with all healing modalities, when you work on one part of the family, everyone in the family receives benefits.

So really when you see your family patterns and judge them, you don’t have to wait for anyone else in your family to change, you can start the process yourself. With ThetaHealing, you can receive sessions to heal those aspects within yourself or take a class to learn the technique for yourself and others. One of the benefits of ThetaHealing is that you can access information and beliefs that have been passed on from generation to generation. And you can heal and release the patterns, traumas, and whatever past situations have led to holding onto the patterns.

I have been surprised time and time again by how my own family has evolved as I have done my inner work. Although I grew up feeling like the black sheep of the family, the more that I do my own inner work and shift my own limiting beliefs, the more that I witness a more loving, caring, supportive, open-minded family that I am a part of.

We are never victims of the past; and we don’t have to do the healing ourselves. We always have the support of the Creator/Source/God and other healers to help aide in the process.
